Since designer 1.3 we have changed a lot of the it's internal works.<br/> We tried to stick even more with the principle of dependency injection.<br/> The most important change we made is that we switched from our custom services and their ServiceRegistry-Singleton to the service architecture that comes with OSGi.<br/> We also created a service locator to make it even easier to make use of these services.<br/> The following chapters will introduce the basic concepts of services and how we use it in designer. I will also try to show how to create your own service.<br/> The last chapter will then introduce the various services that we are providing with the core of designer.
